David Furst, Chairman

Mr. Furst has over 37 years of management experience as a veteran of the Home Land Security, and Electronic industries. Over the recent 17 years, Mr. Furst is active in the Life Sciences Industry, benefit from his reputation and intimate acquaintance with the Israeli Life Sciences industry.

Currently serves as the President & CEO of LifeSci – Connecting Businesses to Markets Worldwide.

  • Chairman of 3QBD – Point of Care, In-Vitro molecular diagnostic device.
  • Chairman of ES Medical Group – Minimal Invasive devices for cardiovascular Surgery.
  • Vice Chairman of the "German-Israel Life Sciences Committee" (GILSC).
  • Member on “The Life Science Forum” of the Israeli Palestinian Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Furst serves as an ambassador of good will of the Israeli Life Sciences Industry at any opportunity around the world.

Prior to his current roles, Mr. Furst served as a Chairman of PolyTouch Medical (acquired), Director of the Advisory Board of BioData (acquired), Director - Life Science and Nanotechnology Industries at Israel Export Institute, Mr. Furst founded and managed CellFeed Medical, Served as a Partner at Atara Technology Ventures, COO at Ron-Tech Medical, VP R&D of MTRE Advanced Technology, the R&D Manager at Direx Medical Devices, Before that he served as a Business Development manager at Orbotech (NASDAQ: ORBK).

Mr. Furst is an MBA graduate of Brunel University of West London. He is a retired Lt. Colonel of the Israeli Paratroopers' Corps.

Dr. Tilo Mandry, Vice Chairman (Germany)

Director of Health – Made in Germany the initiative of the German Federal Government for the promotion of health care goods and services, Germany

- Prior to that Senior Manager at Germany Trade and Invest for biotechnology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

- Prior to that attorney-at-law in Munich (Germany), specializing in pharmaceutical law.

- He Holds a PhD in pharmaceutical law from University of Marburg, a JD from University of Cologne and a Master of Laws from Vanderbilt University (USA).

- Vice Chairman of the German-Israeli Life Sciences Committee (since 2009).

Miri Sani, Vice Chairwoman (Israel)

CEO at Shefa Amirim Med Ltd.

Miri Sani has more than 20 years of experience in the Israeli Biotech industry and has worked in several companies as VP of regulatory affairs. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Sani has designed and conducted many clinical studies. She also led the process of the FDA and CE mark approvals. Ms. Sani served as VP of Regulatory Affairs in Notal Vision that developed solutions for the early detection and monitoring of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), ConTipi that provided female urine incontinence solutions, and MTRE that developed a thermoregulation system for surgeries. In addition, Ms. Sani is a CEO of a consulting company, Shefa Amirim Med, which has designed and conducted clinical studies for Israeli, incubator-based companies all over the world. In addition, she serves a a regulatory director in several Israeli biotech companies.
